Deadly Napa crash: Officials ID three women killed in head-on crash

Authorities on Monday released the names of three women killed in a head-on crash in Napa, a case in which a man was suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.

The women were identified as Vivian Bertolino, 65; Linda Wolters, 62; and Katrina Clarke, 65, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, which includes the coroner’s bureau. Bertolino and Wolters lived in American Canyon in Napa County. Clarke lived in Sacramento.

The crash occurred just before noon Saturday on Silverado Trail near Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. The California Highway Patrol said the driver of a southbound Mitsubishi sedan sideswiped a northbound sport utility vehicle, then crashed into a Toyota sedan behind the SUV…
