Newark man charged with robbing, scamming online marketplace sellers

Police have arrested a Newark man accused of robbing or scamming several people who arranged to sell him items through an online marketplace.

Detectives connected the three incidents to 25-year-old Zjahmere Walker and located him Sunday while he was actively shoplifting at a local business, according to Lt. Greg D’Elia, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department.
