WORCESTER – Workers at the Sam’s Club Fulfillment Center, next to the Walmart Supercenter on Tobias Boland Way, have been told they will lose their jobs at the facility as part of a shutdown.
Sam’s is a division of Walmart Inc. A company spokesman confirmed the facility closing March 30.
The 90 employees who work at the warehouse, where merchandise was prepared for online orders, are set to lose their jobs May 29, although they could get jobs at other locations within the company, according to a required state notification filing, known as a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification…
