Monday power outage causes early release at Claude ISD, impacts more than 900 customers

ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – A power outage Monday afternoon was impacting more than 900 customers and led to the early release of Claude Independent School District as of 1:45 p.m.

According to the Xcel Energy Outage Map, an “unplanned” power outage just before 1 p.m. on Monday was impacting Armstrong, Moore, Carson, Potter and Randall County customers. As of 1:45 p.m., around 936 customers were reported as impacted.
