CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Cedar Rapids police responded around 1:29 a.m. Sunday to a disturbance involving a large fight in the 400 block of 2nd Avenue SE.
Officers working to separate those involved inside the location encountered continued fighting outside. Backup was requested, bringing additional Cedar Rapids police officers and Linn County Sheriff’s deputies to the scene. One officer sustained minor injuries during the response.
Officers later reviewed available evidence and placed multiple individuals under arrest. Authorities indicated further arrests could follow as the review and investigation proceed…
