There is a must-visit breakfast spot in Chicago, a chain renowned for its perfect cinnamon rolls, potato sausage, and Swedish pancakes. Unfortunately, due to recent developments, it will soon close its current location and relocate.
CBS News reported that Ann Sather, located on Belmont Avenue in Lakeview, will be moving later this year. The relocation is expected sometime in June or July, though a specific date has not yet been finalized.
A massive new luxury development is forcing Ann Sather to leave
Next door to Ann Sather, a new mixed-use building is currently under construction. This new development will feature 46 luxury apartments and has replaced a two-story brown-brick building that was nearly identical in architecture to the one housing Ann Sather.
The building that was demolished previously housed several establishments, including the American Vapor vape shop, Strings Ramen, BopNgrill Korean fast-food restaurant, The Gallery Bookstore, and Belmont Army Vintage, as well as apartments above.
Initially, plans to demolish the building that houses Ann Sather were also scaled back, allowing the Belmont Avenue location to remain open for business…
