WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A large fire at a chicken coop in Butler County drew the response of several departments on Sunday.
Butler County Fire District 3 reported that the fire happened just before 8 p.m.
Crews arriving at the scene spotted flames and a large column of smoke coming from the 30-by-50-foot structure. The fire was threatening a nearby home, so additional resources were requested from Andover Fire-Rescue and Butler County Fire District 8.
