BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers who use Vista Avenue should plan for possible slowdowns starting Wednesday, April 1, as bridge maintenance work begins north of Interstate 84.
Beginning April 1, there will be lane restrictions on Vista Avenue between Elder Street and Canal Street, on the bridge over the New York Canal. The road will remain open, with at least one lane available in each direction, but drivers may experience delays through the work zone.
The project is part of the Ada County Highway District’s Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program and includes deck maintenance on the Vista Avenue structure over the New York Canal.
