SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Ahead of April general conference, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is preparing to release its World Report, and it also announced that more than 1 million people are enrolled in Church education for the first time.
The World Report is released twice a year, and it highlights what’s been going on in the Church since the previous general conference. It will be released on Wednesday, April 1, in 11 languages on the Church Newsroom YouTube channel, and it will also air during general conference weekend on Saturday, April 4, at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Church provided a preview of the report, which will cover growing membership, expanding missionary efforts, and increasing enrolment in the Institutes of Religion and seminary.
