EUGENE, Ore. — Drivers in Eugene are paying more at the pump after gasoline prices jumped almost 10 cents in the past week.
Average gasoline prices in Eugene have risen 9.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.80 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in Eugene. Prices in Eugene are 95.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.17 per gallon higher than a year ago.
Across the country, the national average price of gasoline has risen 2.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.95 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 97.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 83.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country…
