ANN ARBOR, MI – A Canton man sent to trial for allegedly shooting out of a car in Ann Arbor has taken a plea deal.
Thelonius Jamal Williams pleaded no contest on March 24 to one charge of assault less than murder before Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Carol Kuhnke, court records show. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
Williams, then 23, is accused of shooting at a 32-year-old man from a car around 2 a.m. in May 2024 in the 3300 block of Washtenaw Avenue, police previously said. The man, whose hand was injured, drove himself to the hospital…
