CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A motorcyclist died after suffering serious injuries in a crash on Independence Boulevard in southeast Charlotte last week, police said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a crash along East Independence near the intersection with Sardis Road a few minutes before 8:30 p.m. on March 26. When officers arrived, they found a damaged motorcycle and a Chevrolet Impala that were involved in an apparent crash. The motorcyclist, 34-year-old Adian Lynn Garcia, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
