Pinellas County Utilities is moving forward with plans to build two deep injection wells to meet the requirements of Senate Bill 64, which calls for ending the discharge of treated wastewater from the South Cross Bayou Advanced Water Reclamation Facility. The wells will be located at the McKay Creek Reclaimed Water Booster Station near Walsingham Road in Largo and at the Lake Seminole Park Maintenance Yard near 98th Street in Seminole.
