Christopher Elder declared his candidacy for State Representative in Ohio’s 82nd District, representing Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert Counties, and a portion of Defiance County. Elder is running as a Libertarian and will appear on the Primary ballot in May.

Why Libertarian? A main tenet of Libertarian philosophy is this: If what you do doesn’t result in a victim or the imminent threat of harming someone else, then there is no crime or reason for punishment. Therefore, it should not be subject to government regulation…
