LeAnn Rimes Performs Live with the Greensboro Symphony For One Night Only

In 2026, LeAnn Rimes is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her major label debut album, Blue. It doesn’t seem like it’s been 30 years since I first heard her version of the iconic title track played for the first time. I always remember it, and it still amazes me that at the mere age of 13, LeAnn Rimes got everyone’s attention. She went on to earn 2 Grammy Awards for this album followed by years of even more incredible hits.

When I saw the announcement that LeAnn Rimes would be performing alongside the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, I knew I wanted to see that performance. So, I was extremely excited to get the honor to review and photograph it for I’m Music Magazine. On March 28, 2026, LeAnn Rimes accompanied by the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performed for the crowd at Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro, NC. This theater located in downtown Greensboro is a favorite to catch live performances ranging from Broadway productions to comedy shows and concerts.

The show began right at 7:30 and everyone was already at their seats and ready when the Greensboro Symphony started the show by playing “Oklahoma.” After some short introductions, music conductor, Christopher Dragon, welcomed LeAnn Rimes to the stage. The lights went down with just a spotlight as LeAnn sat down at the piano and started into “Remnants”, the title track from her 15th studio album…
