A fire broke out at a North Carolina metal recycling facility in Kernersville last week after a pile of processed material caught fire, officials said.
Kernersville Fire Department got the call Monday, March 24 at 9:27 p.m. for a fire at a scrap metal fire at OmniSource, located along the 1400 block of West Mountain Street. The Winston-Salem Fire Department was also on scene to assist.
