Lansing man rejects plea in alleged break-in at officers’ Coleman home

Accused of breaking into two law enforcement officers’ Coleman home, a Lansing man rejected a plea offer Monday and is set for a trial.

Nicholas Premo, 47, allegedly broke into a home belonging to a Michigan State Police trooper and a Midland Police Department officer on Oct. 12, 2025. He rejected a plea offer and is set for a May 18 jury trial. He is charged with four felonies and two misdemeanors.

Premo remains jailed on a $250,000 bond in the Midland County Jail…
