Access to Eagle Rock Road from Wendell Boulevard will permanently close in mid to late April to allow intersection changes with Rolesville Road. The closure will occur overnight to avoid rush hour traffic. Drivers will reach Eagle Rock Road through the Wendell Commerce Center using an access road connected to Wendell Valley Boulevard, which has multiple lanes to improve traffic flow. Message boards and detour signs will guide drivers ahead of the change. The project is coordinated by the Wendell Commerce Center developer, its contractors, and NCDOT.
