ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred after an altercation on Sunday.
According to police, authorities were called to the 100 Block of Maryland Street for a report of people fighting. It was soon reported that a man had been stabbed. Officers found a 36-year-old man from the City of Rochester once they arrived on scene, who had been stabbed in the lower body at least once. Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim before he was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
