Bradenton police ask for help identifying man who broke into, napped in box trucks

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Bradenton Police Department posted surveillance video from March 15, asking for help identifying a man who slept in an unlocked box truck before breaking into another box truck and taking off.

The man climbed into an unlocked box truck around 2:55 a.m. that was parked in the 300 block of Manatee Avenue West. The police department said he “kicked off his shoes and made himself comfy” in the box truck for over five hours.

The man emerged from the truck around 8:25 a.m. before he “went on a hunt” for his missing shoes, BPD said in a Facebook post…
