A man died after being hit by multiple vehicles while crossing the North Freeway on Monday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
HCSO said the incident happened at around 9 p.m. In a social media post, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the man was running across the I-45 North Freeway northbound mainlanes at Rankin before he was fatally hit.
The northbound lanes were shut down during the investigation, but those have since been reopened…
