NRG Media is subtracting another Nebraska cluster, with Connoisseur Media signing a deal for the Mary Quass-led company’s six Lincoln-area stations, though to close the deal Jeff Warshaw is betting on a big FCC waiver to let Connoisseur own 11 stations in the market.
The deal includes KBBK, KLIN-AM, KLNC, K233AN, K257GN, all licensed to Lincoln, and KFGE, licensed to Milford. A sale price was not disclosed. Kalil & Co. served as the exclusive broker for the transaction.
The waiver is necessary because Connoisseur already owns five FMs and KFOR-AM in Lincoln. Based on Fall 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings, all 11 commercially licensed radio brands appearing in the market results would become Connoisseur stations upon closing.
