Two deputies are recovering after being hurt when they tried to detain a suspect in southwest Houston on Tuesday morning, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 5.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. after a call that someone was breaking into a car in the 5400 block of Redstart Street.
