Aurora police are asking for the public’s help tracking down a car tied to a possible abduction that witnesses say turned into a terrifying hood ride on Sunday evening outside a food-and-beverage business on the 15200 block of East Hampden Avenue.
According to police, the incident unfolded at about 6:30 p.m., when two men were seen forcing a woman toward a vehicle. Witnesses told officers the woman climbed onto the hood as the car drove away, and that the vehicle briefly stopped near Chambers before taking off again with her still on the hood. Aurora police say the case is being investigated as a possible abduction.
In a post on X, the Aurora Police Dept shared photos and described the suspect car as a white 1997–2005 Chevrolet Malibu with tinted windows, silver five-spoke wheels, and possible front-end damage. The department led the post with the plea “Have you seen this vehicle?” and urged anyone with information to call 911 or Investigator Hess at 303-627-3214.
