A man stole at least $1,000 in merchandise after hitting the same Walmart over 70 times using a self-checkout to pay less for merchandise, according to Glendale police.
Harold Carlson, 49, was arrested March 25 after store employees and police reviewed surveillance video of Carlson at the Walmart near Northern and 59th avenues in Glendale.
