The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will start paving work on the Mill Street Improvement Project on April 1, with construction continuing through April. During this time, Mill Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction 24/7 between Kietzke Lane and I-580, including nearby Market Street and Golden Lane.
Crews will resume milling on April 9 and begin nighttime paving the week of April 12. Drivers should plan extra travel time and follow posted signs through the area. Construction schedules may change depending on weather.
