EUGENE, Ore. – Hundreds of Christians gathered in downtown Eugene on Palm Sunday to protest authoritarianism and white Christian nationalism as part of a nationwide movement.
Participants met at the First Christian Church in downtown Eugene, where church leaders said they wanted to reclaim Christianity and speak out against white Christian nationalism.
“I think it’s important for us to sort of call out white Christian nationalism because it does come under the umbrella of Christianity in our country, unfortunately,” said Rev.
