Mass. man pleads guilty to embezzling nearly $8M from his employers

A Sudbury man has pleaded guilty to embezzling nearly $8 million from two Massachusetts medical practices he used to work for, the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Adam Gentile, 39, pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud in federal court in Worcester, federal prosecutors said in a press release. He was charged in the case in December 2025.

In 2014, Gentile was hired to work as an administrative assistant for a Massachusetts medical practice before being quickly promoted to the position of office manager, federal prosecutors said.
