Several people are in custody after running from a traffic stop along Interstate 20 in Leeds, according to police.
The Leeds Police Department says an Alabama State Trooper stopped a vehicle believed to be carrying people in the country illegally. During the stop, the occupants resisted and ran into nearby woods.
