SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A family is searching for their son after he disappeared following a court hearing on March 24.
Patrick Joseph James Jr., 39, was last seen walking at 11:20 a.m. March 24 in the 6200 block of 25th Street East in Ellenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said he is considered a missing endangered adult and is unable to care for himself.
Family members said they were awarded foreign guardianship in Florida during a March 24 hearing held on Zoom. They said Patrick has epilepsy and needs medication.
