INDIANAPOLIS — A man was hospitalized after a stabbing incident on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3900 block of East Washington Street around 7:48 p.m. to investigate a stabbing. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with injuries consistent with stab wounds in a nearby alley.
IMPD reported that the victim was transported from the scene to a local hospital in critical condition after the incident. Police confirmed that the victim’s condition was upgraded to stable after he received treatment at the hospital.
