NASCAR driver resigns after indefinite suspension lifted

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A NASCAR driver has resigned after he was suspended indefinitely earlier this month.

Kaulig Racing said on Tuesday, March 31 that it accepted driver Daniel Dye’s resignation. Dye had driven the team’s No. 10 in the Truck Series prior to his March 17 suspension that stemmed from comments he made during a live stream.

During that stream, Dye was opening trading cards with other people when he mocked the voice of IndyCar driver David Malukas, and called it his “David Malukas gay voice.”…
