COLUMBIA, — A multi-agency pursuit that began in Camden on Tuesday afternoon ended with a suspect in custody after a high-speed chase that spanned multiple jurisdictions and reached speeds exceeding 100 mph.
According to initial reports, the incident began at approximately 2:37 p.m. when officers attempted a traffic stop on a gray Toyota Camry in Camden. The driver, who was reportedly wanted on outstanding warrants, failed to stop and fled the scene, prompting a pursuit.
