Female Veterans Honored by Erie Veterans Affairs

Female veterans took center stage at the Erie VA on Tuesday, honored and celebrated during a special program marking the final day of Women’s History Month.

The event recognized the service, sacrifice, and lasting impact of women who have served in the U.S. military.

“Women have been significant in many or all of the wars that we have had,” said Maurice Clarke, Minority Veterans Program Coordinator at the Erie VA. “So it’s time to really highlight that their impact really does make a difference.”
