Duke admitted 2,083 prospective Blue Devils to the Class of 2030 through its Regular Decision admissions cycle, according to Kathy Phillips, interim dean in the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Combined with the 847 students admitted through Early Decision, the University’s overall acceptance rate fell to 4.7%, similar to last year.
Overall, Duke fielded 61,935 applications this year, which is roughly 2,000 more than last admission cycle. Much of that difference came from a crowded Regular Decision applicant pool. While Early Decision applications declined by nearly 500, Regular Decision more than offset the drop.
