Christian Parmalee Edwards, a man from Oakhurst, Madera County, was arrested earlier this month after detectives discovered disturbing evidence at his home, including a “life-like child doll designed for sexual use,” newly bought children’s clothing, and thousands of files containing child sexual abuse material.
Edwards is accused of possessing, distributing, and secretly recording families who stayed in his vacation rental property.
Discovery of Disturbing Evidence
During a raid of Edwards’ home in Oakhurst, Madera County, officers found the doll, which had its hands tied, and newly purchased children’s clothing. Additionally, investigators seized thousands of files containing child sexual abuse material.
The raid followed a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which flagged suspected online activity related to the distribution of illegal material in the area.
