🎠 Two Gwinnett schools open new inclusive playgrounds

Two Gwinnett County elementary schools now have brand-new inclusive playgrounds designed so every child can play together. Baggett Elementary and Ferguson Elementary each unveiled their new play areas, complete with ramps, gliding see-saws, slides, and communication boards for both verbal and non-verbal interaction.

At Baggett, the idea began as a 4th-grade STEAM project, with students acting as project managers to design an accessible playground. Donations from Regions Bank and local families helped make it a reality. The funds students raised will now go toward a new Pre-K playground…
