Montgomery restaurant introduces new GM after beloved owner’s death

A local Montgomery restaurant has new leadership after the death of its longtime owner.

Johnny Sullivan, the owner of the Montgomery favorite restaurant Sinclair’s East, died earlier this month on March 9 at 74 years old. Sullivan’s obituary said that he spent over 50 years in the restaurant industry and had “a gift for making everyone feel welcome.”

As of late March, the restaurant has a new general manager. Ashley Adair, who has worked for the restaurant for the past 14 years and also worked “closely alongside” Sullivan, is now serving in the role.

“In the days surrounding Johnny’s passing, Ashley and our team have shown incredible strength and dedication in continuing his legacy,” the restaurant shared in a Facebook post on March 18. “While Johnny is irreplaceable, we know Ashley and our staff will make him proud.”…
