New York man stabs another during argument in Myrtle Beach area, police say

A New York man was arrested for attempted murder after allegedly stabbing and biting another man.

Zachary Wilson Meade, 35, was charged Monday with attempted murder and possession of a deadly weapon during a violent crime.

Horry County Police responded to what appears to be the parking lot of a gas station on Burcale Road in the Myrtle Beach area on March 29, 2026, to a report of a stabbing. When the officer arrived, he found Meade walking away from a black school bus with his hands in the air, appearing to have a large amount of blood staining his shirt and on his arms and face, the incident report said…
