MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) โ The Maryville City Council could soon give the go-ahead for a new surgery center and outpatient medical office to be built.
If approved, the proposed 129,000-square-foot building would be located at the former Royal Oaks Golf Course off of Legends Way in Maryville. It would be operated by Prisma Health, the South Carolina-based health care company, which acquired Blount Memorial Hospital in 2024.

Prisma Health is exploring opportunities to expand access to care in Maryville, with current plans for medical offices and an outpatient diagnostic center at the property in question. Any future development will align with Prisma Healthโs commitment to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of the communities it serves.
