New traffic signal in Hendersonville helps relieve traffic after area sees growth

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new traffic signal is finally giving residents some relief after several new developments started causing more congestion in the area.

The new traffic signal at the intersection of East Main Street and Maple Row Boulevard is an added feature to help control not only traffic but also the businesses being built in that area.

Chick-fil-A recently opened a new location on Main Street. Hendersonville Communications Manager Casey LaMarr says with all the new business development in the area, a traffic study was completed, which led to a need for a signal at that location.
