The City of Ocala is asking artists to help ensure that a local church’s historic legacy remains a focal point of the downtown landscape through an art installation at the site of the city’s new parking garage.
The Ocala Municipal Arts Commission is set to review a proposal on Wednesday, April 1, to launch an open call for Florida-based artists to commemorate the historic Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
