This weekend

  • Saturday and Sunday 4/4 and 4/5 — The Great Mother March, a group of women walking from Asheville, North Carolina, to Washington, D.C., will pass south of Roanoke this weekend in a show of peace and unity. Marchers will walk from Floyd to Ferrum Saturday and from Ferrum to Rocky Mount Sunday. Event organizers said spectators are welcome to visit the marchers along the route.
  • Friday through Monday, 4/3 to 4/6 — Paranormal Cirque Specter at Valley View Mall (4802 Valley View Blvd. NW, Roanoke). A crazy yet fun fusion between Circus, theatre, and cabaret in perfect harmony with the evolution of a show that brings you back to when we dream … and when we had nightmares and fantasies.
