At Staten Island school’s hip‑hop performance, ‘every student shines in their own way’ (25+ photos)

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — P37R, the David Marquis School of the Arts in Great Kills, turned rhythm into celebration on Monday, as students took the stage for a hip‑hop dance showcase that had the audience cheering along.

Every student participated in the performance, showing off their moves and, in some cases, singing their way through the routines.
