Early Sunday morning in Apollo Beach, deputies say gunfire tore through the front door of a home on Lookout Drive, leaving a woman wounded and a 37-year-old man under arrest.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. on March 29. Deputies say Luis Enrique Gutierrez Rosaly fired multiple rounds through the front door of the home, hitting a woman who was taken to a hospital for treatment. They located and detained Gutierrez Rosaly near the scene shortly after.
In its online post, the sheriff’s office said Gutierrez Rosaly was charged with attempted second-degree murder and several related felonies, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, shooting into a building, criminal mischief of $1,000 or more and tampering with physical evidence.
