Dallas resident wins $2.4 million lottery jackpot, the largest in 20 years, officials say

DALLAS — A Dallas resident claimed a $2.4 million winning ticket from the Texas Lottery, officials said.

A person who chose to remain anonymous claimed a Texas Two Step jackpot prize worth $2.4 million for the drawing on March 5, the Texas Lottery said in a press release. The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store off Frankford Road in Dallas, officials said.
