LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – Two field fires in Linn County are raising questions about how and when burn bans are lifted, after one ended just hours before crews were called to respond.
More than 50 firefighters responded to a field fire on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids. That same day, another fire broke out in Center Point, where neighbors say flames spread quickly across open land.
