Baton Rouge woman charged with 4th DWI after crashing vehicle into ditch, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) was called to a single-vehicle crash in front of the La Quinta Inn & Suites on Reiger Road Wednesday, March 25.

The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of Christine Guidry, 40, of Baton Rouge.

Guidry faces several charges, including:

  • operating while impaired; fourth offense
  • possession of Schedule II drugs
  • reckless operation of a vehicle
  • operating a vehicle while license is suspended

EBRSO responded around 11:53 a.m. and found Guidry’s vehicle in a ditch.

Deputies stated that Guidry had erratic behavior, slurred speech, and appeared to be under the influence of an unidentified narcotic…
