Katy, Texas. – Texas Southern Women’s Golf teams return to action this week as they compete locally in the National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship hosted by the Women’s In Golf Foundation.
The Tigers posted a three-round total of 940 (310 – 305 – 325) to finish in 14th place at the West Texas Classic. Junior Thaiz Amezcua was the top performer for the Tigers with her 230 (76 – 77 – 77) finish. Amezcua’s seven-over-par final round consisted of two birdies, eight pars, and eight bogeys or more.
