Suspect surrenders after CCPD SWAT called to Lantana Street

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Update:

On Tuesday night, CCPD officials identified the suspect as Matthew Grimaldo, 30.

According to the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office, he is charged with:

  • Continuous violence against the family (no bond)
  • Tampering with an electronic monitoring device (no bond)
  • Interfering with an emergency request for assistance ($5,000 bond)
  • Terroristic threat against a public servant ($5,000 bond)
  • Assault causing bodily injury to a family member ($5,000 bond)
  • Terroristic threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury ($5,000 bond)
  • Violating a bond or protective order ($5,000 bond)
  • Criminal mischief between $100 and $750 ($1,000 bond)
